Desktop & tower colocation

Your hardware deserves better than the office cupboard.

Colocate your desktop or tower server in our Long Stratton facility — UPS-backed power, dual 10G network feeds, DDoS protection, and engineers on site. Visit it whenever you need to, by appointment.

  • 20TB monthly bandwidth included
  • 2× 10G RJ45 feeds
  • UPS-backed power
  • 5× static IPv4 addresses

Plans

Three plans. Pick by power draw.

Every plan gets the same network: 20TB of monthly bandwidth, dual 10G RJ45 feeds, five static IPv4 addresses, and DDoS protection. The only question is how much power your machine pulls.

Low Power Desktop

NUCs, mini PCs, efficient desktops & appliances

£30/mo +VAT

  • 0.3A @ 230V power allowance
  • 20TB monthly bandwidth
  • 2× 10G RJ45 feeds
  • 5× static IPv4 addresses
  • DDoS protection included

High Power Plus

Dual-CPU rigs, multi-GPU & heavy-duty machines

£85/mo +VAT

  • 2A @ 230V power allowance
  • 20TB monthly bandwidth
  • 2× 10G RJ45 feeds
  • 5× static IPv4 addresses
  • DDoS protection included

Included

A data centre behind your desktop.

Everything your machine gets by moving out of the office and into the facility — included in every plan.

  • UPS-backed power Clean, conditioned power with generator backup behind it — not a wall socket and hope.
  • 2× 10G RJ45 feeds Dual 10-gigabit network feeds into your machine — serious connectivity for a desktop.
  • 20TB monthly bandwidth A generous allowance that most workloads never touch the sides of.
  • 5× static IPv4 addresses Five dedicated IPv4s included — run multiple services without NAT gymnastics.
  • 30Tbps+ DDoS protection The same always-on filtering that protects the rest of the network. No surcharge.
  • Monitored environment Temperature and humidity controlled, watched around the clock.
  • Remote hands Reboots, swaps and checks by the engineers who work in the facility daily.
  • Secure facility access Controlled access, and you can visit your hardware by appointment.

How it works

From cupboard to colocation in four steps.

1 Tell us your hardware Make, size, and rough power draw — we confirm the right plan
2 Drop it off or ship it Bring it to Long Stratton by appointment, or courier it to us
3 We install and connect Installed in our dedicated tower area, powered, cabled to both feeds
4 It's online Your IPs go live; remote hands and visits whenever you need

Built for

Hardware that has outgrown the office.

The comms cupboard escape

That business-critical tower humming next to the mops and the router? Give it real power, real cooling, and a network that does not share with the kettle.

Home labs going commercial

When the hobby starts paying, residential broadband and a cupboard under the stairs stop being acceptable. Same machine, proper home.

GPU workstations

Rendering, AI workloads, and compute rigs that need consistent power and cooling — without heating your office or tripping its breakers.

Backup & appliance boxes

Off-site backup targets, NAS units, and monitoring appliances that should not live in the same building as the data they protect.

DDoS mitigation

Attack traffic is dropped before it reaches your server.

Every colocated machine sits behind layered filtering. Volumetric floods are absorbed at our network edge, and application-layer attacks are stripped out by kernel-level XDP filters — so only clean traffic flows between your server and the internet.

  • Always on. Protection is built into the network — not an add-on, not a surcharge.
  • 30Tbps+ volumetric capacity. Floods are absorbed at the edge before they touch your machine.
  • Kernel-level application filtering. XDP drops malicious packets at line rate, keeping latency low for clean traffic.

Global network

20+ countries. Coverage across 4 continents.

Every service we run is backed by the GSL backbone — a global mesh of edge metros, upstream points of presence and private fibre runs. Drag the globe, then click any metro or fibre run to see what it covers.

Questions

Desktop colocation, answered straight.

What kind of machines can I colocate?

Desktops, towers, workstations, mini PCs, and appliance boxes. If it is something unusual — odd dimensions, unusual power, special cooling — tell us before you order and we will confirm it fits.

Which plan do I need?

It comes down to power draw. Efficient desktops, NUCs and appliances usually sit comfortably under 0.3A at 230V (roughly 70W). Workstations and GPU rigs want the 1A plan (roughly 230W). Not sure? Tell us the spec and we will tell you honestly.

Can I visit my server?

Yes — that is half the point of colocating locally. Visits are by appointment, and we encourage a facility tour before you commit.

What happens if my machine locks up at 2am?

Ask for remote hands. The people doing the reboot are the engineers who run the facility, not a third-party callout.

What about the network?

Every colocated machine gets two 10G RJ45 feeds, 20TB of monthly bandwidth, five static IPv4 addresses, and sits behind our 30Tbps+ DDoS protection. If you expect to push past 20TB regularly, talk to us about options.

What if I outgrow a single desktop?

The next steps live in the same building: single-server rackmount colocation, private racks, or dedicated servers. Moving up is a conversation, not a migration project.

Get started

Tell us what you want to rack.

Send the make, model, and rough power draw of your machine. We will confirm the right plan, agree a drop-off, and have it online without drama.
