Single server colocation

One server. A whole facility behind it.

Rack your own 1U, 2U or 4U server in our Long Stratton facility — 1A of power included, dual 10G feeds, DDoS mitigation, and engineers on site when you need hands on the hardware.

  • 1U–4U rackmount options
  • 1A @ 230V power included
  • 2× 10G RJ45 feeds
  • 20TB monthly bandwidth

Plans

Priced by rack space. Nothing else changes.

Every plan includes 1A of power, 20TB of monthly bandwidth, dual 10G RJ45 feeds, and DDoS mitigation. Just pick the size of your server.

Need more than 1A of power? Additional power is available on enquiry. Not sure what your server draws? Try the power estimator.

Included

A proper rack home for your server.

Everything your machine gets the day it moves in — included in every plan.

  • UPS-backed power 1A at 230V included, conditioned and generator-backed. Need more? Ask — additional power on enquiry.
  • 2× 10G RJ45 feeds Dual 10-gigabit feeds into your server as standard — not a shared megabit trickle.
  • 20TB monthly bandwidth A generous allowance that most single-server workloads never get near.
  • 30Tbps+ DDoS mitigation The same always-on filtering that protects the rest of the network. No surcharge.
  • Structured install Racked on proper rails with clean, labelled cabling — not balanced on top of someone else’s kit.
  • Monitored environment Temperature and humidity controlled, watched around the clock.
  • Remote hands Reboots, swaps and checks by the engineers who work in the facility daily.
  • Secure facility access Controlled access, and you can visit your hardware by appointment.

How it works

From box to racked in four steps.

1 Tell us your hardware Size, depth, and power draw — we confirm the right plan
2 Drop it off or ship it Bring it to Long Stratton by appointment, or courier it to us
3 We rack and cable it On rails, powered, connected to both feeds
4 It's online Remote hands and visits whenever you need them

Built for

One serious server, properly housed.

The business server

The machine your company actually runs on. Give it redundant power, real cooling, and a network feed it could never get in the office.

MSP edge infrastructure

A managed point of presence near your Norfolk and East Anglia clients, with remote hands so you do not drive out for a reboot.

Backup & DR targets

Off-site backup and disaster recovery servers that should not share a postcode with the systems they protect, rackmount NAS units included. Desktop NAS? See NAS colocation.

Hosting on your own metal

Game servers, web hosting, or SaaS on hardware you own — with the DDoS protection that public-facing services need.

DDoS mitigation

Attack traffic is dropped before it reaches your server.

Every colocated machine sits behind layered filtering. Volumetric floods are absorbed at our network edge, and application-layer attacks are stripped out by kernel-level XDP filters — so only clean traffic flows between your server and the internet.

  • Always on. Protection is built into the network — not an add-on, not a surcharge.
  • 30Tbps+ volumetric capacity. Floods are absorbed at the edge before they touch your machine.
  • Kernel-level application filtering. XDP drops malicious packets at line rate, keeping latency low for clean traffic.

Global network

20+ countries. Coverage across 4 continents.

Every service we run is backed by the GSL backbone — a global mesh of edge metros, upstream points of presence and private fibre runs. Drag the globe, then click any metro or fibre run to see what it covers.

Questions

Single server colocation, answered straight.

What servers fit the plans?

Standard 19" rackmount servers from 1U to 4U. If yours is unusually deep, heavy, or oddly shaped, tell us before you order and we will confirm it fits. A Synology RackStation or other rackmount NAS colocates here like any other storage server. Desktop NAS? See NAS colocation.

Is 1A of power enough?

1A at 230V (roughly 230W) covers most single-CPU servers comfortably. Dual-CPU, GPU, or storage-stacked machines can pull more — additional power is available on enquiry, so tell us your spec and we will quote it straight.

What about the network?

Every server gets two 10G RJ45 feeds, 20TB of monthly bandwidth, and sits behind our 30Tbps+ DDoS mitigation. If you expect to push past 20TB regularly, talk to us about options.

Can I visit my server?

Yes — that is half the point of colocating locally. Visits are by appointment, and we encourage a facility tour before you commit.

What happens if it locks up at 2am?

Ask for remote hands. The people doing the reboot are the engineers who run the facility, not a third-party callout.

What if I outgrow a single server?

The next steps live in the same building: more servers, a private rack, or dedicated hardware. Moving up is a conversation, not a migration project.

Get started

Tell us what you want to rack.

Send the make, model, size, and rough power draw of your server. We will confirm the right plan, agree a drop-off, and have it online without drama.
