How is this different from just having backups?
Backups protect your data; disaster recovery protects your ability to keep operating. We don’t only hold a copy — with Warm Standby and Full DR Site you can actually bring your environment online here and fail over, not just restore files and hope.
What can I replicate to Norfolk?
Physical and virtual servers, VMs, databases, file shares and application data. Whether you’re running on-premises, in another data centre, or in public cloud, we’ll work out the right replication method for your stack.
How quickly can I be back online?
It depends on the RTO you choose. Warm Standby typically restores service in under an hour; a full DR site designed around your estate can be faster still. Offsite Backup trades speed for simplicity and aims for next business day.
Can we test our failover?
Yes — and you should. We help you run scheduled DR tests and failover drills in a controlled window so you know recovery works before you ever need it for real.
Is my data kept in the UK?
Always. Your DR copy lives in our own Long Stratton facility near Norwich — UK-resident data on UK-owned hardware, never offshored. That keeps GDPR and data-residency requirements straightforward.
What happens to data created while we’re running on DR?
It’s captured at the DR site. When your primary is restored we resync everything back and fail you over cleanly, so nothing created during the incident is left behind.
Who do we contact when we need to declare a disaster?
The engineers who run the facility and your DR environment. One call, real people, working the failover with you — not a ticket in a queue.
